• History:

  • We are a volunteer-run, non-profit group of Child Care lawyers and associated professionals. We formed the organisation in order to share experiences, support one another, and to discuss topical child care related issues.

  • Membership:

  • Your membership and involvement are welcomed by the London Children’s Lawyers. The involvement and enthusiasm of our members enable us to create a multi-disciplinary forum where childcare related law and issues may be discussed. The LCL is solely reliant upon membership dues in order to operate.

  • Purpose:

  • The London Children's Lawyers are:

    1.  A group which primarily serves children and young people within the legal system; and

    2.  A London-based forum for the exchange of information and best practices in relation to childcare law.

  • Goals:

    1. Organising seminars that bring together child care practitioners and Children’s Guardians in the Greater London area for discussion and debate.  Offering Continuing Professional Development Courses for training plans.

    2. Developing a network of lawyers and professionals who work in the child care field across the Greater London area in order to share knowledge and best practices.
